Happy 150th Canada!

Posted by Eric C on

Hi Fountain Pen and Stationery Enthusiasts!

Today marks 150 years for this great nation of ours.

It was on this day 150 years ago that Canada became a kingdom in its own right within the British Empire named the Dominion of Canada. It was one of the several important national milestones on the way to our country's independence. Back then on July 1st, 1867, the Dominion of Canada consisted of only four provinces: Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

Oh, so much have we grown in the last 150 years,
where will the next 150 years take us?

I look forward to seeing our future generations grow up and continue to take Canada to new heights and be a shining example of kindness, tolerance, and diversity to the world.
